To determine the number of square yards of flooring needed, use the following formula: Take Square footage/9 to get the # of Square yards then Multiply # of square yards x Price per square yard which results in the *Cost of the floor. *Remember that the pattern of the floor and the room layout may require the purchase of additional square footage.
